After spending time with fellow blog writers like Ross Haleliuk, Mike Privette, and Darwin Salazar at BSides this year, I’ve decided to remove the paywall from my Substack.
Over the past year, I’ve experimented with different ways to balance accessibility and support — dropping prices, running sales — but ultimately, I want my writing to reach as many people as possible. Starting today, all past and future articles will be freely available to everyone.
Paid subscriptions will still be an option for those who want to support my work, and I’ll include a small section in future newsletters for those who choose to contribute.
The reason behind this change is simple: I started this blog because I was unimpressed with the quality of cybersecurity content out there. Now, as my subscriber base (and the broader cybersecurity community) continues to grow, making sure my work is accessible matters more than ever.
I hope this is a positive change for all of you, and I’ll be exploring other ways to support this newsletter and my writing going forward.
For now, enjoy full access to all the articles (and many more to come)!
